Walked down to Brabourne from NDW on the footpath that leads off just after the chalk pit and ends at the Five Bells.
Overnight at The Five Bells.
Day 9 Brabourne to Dover (18 miles)
Walked along the road to pick up the NDW just west of Stowting.
NDW takes a scenic route around Dover to take in the views but worth it, even if there are lots of steps to climb.
Nothing much happening at the granite start/finish marker on the Esplanade.
Train from Dover back to Ashford.
Day 9 Wye to Canterbury
Walked from Wye along footpaths (well marked) to join NDW just north of Boughton Aluph. Free car parking in Wye.
Stopped for coffee in tea shop at Chilham, but over-priced and wish we’d known that the church was serving refreshments that day. Train back to Wye from Canterbury West station. A good day walk.
