Spend a few minutes in the sunshine picking wild violet flowers and then quickly make this beautifully hued sugar.
Pick half a cup of wild violets on a dry day. Remove any green stalk and put the flowers into a food processor with a cup of sugar. Whizz to break up the petals and pour your violet coloured sugar into an air tight jar.
Use in desserts or baking. Perfect for icing a cake and decorating with fresh violet flowers.
